Uriah Heep-Live

This is the obligatory two record live album most bands released in the 70’s. This one was recorded in Birmingham ,England. This is a used one I bought maybe ten years ago. It’s an original 1973 pressing with the booklet stapled on the inside and the record sleeves with the newspaper articles and reviews of the band. The cover is in very good shape and so is the spine showing the $7.99 list price. I’m sure I paid more than that. Obviously not one of my records from that time as the spines on all of them are destroyed. Playing songs from four of their records(nothing from Salisbury) there is some improvising on “Gypsy” and “Circle Of Hands” which makes up side three and side I like best. Side one has “Sunrise” and “Sweet Loraine” from The Magician’s Birthday and “Traveller In Time” and “Easy Livin'” from Demons And Wizards. Side two is composed of two from Look At Yourself as does side four which ends with an 8 minute medley of 50’s Rock and Roll including “Roll Over Beethoven”, “Blue Suede Shoes”. and “Hound Dog”. The record is in not quite as good shape as the cover but still sounds good.
