After their first album Bill Bruford and Allan Holdsworth were replaced by none other than Terry Bozzio fresh from a stint in Frank Zappa’s band. This trio played on their second record Danger Money and recorded this live album recorded in Japan in 1979. There are two new songs “Night After Night” and “As Long As You Want Me Here”. My favorite on the album is “Ceaser’s Palace Blues” which features Eddie Jobson’s violin. “Nothing To Lose” and “In The Dead Of Night” are also good. The sound is a little thin with only Wetton’s bass and Eddie Jobson playing mostly keyboards but switching to violin occasionally. Terry Bozzio is a decent drummer but he’s no Bill Bruford. Not sure when I bought this one. It looks brand new but someone has written 41:33 on the back of the cover and also on the record sleeve. I assume that’s how long the record is. After this the band broke up. Wetton went on to form Asia, Bozzio formed Missing Persons with other Zappa alumni while Jobson joined Jethro Tull.
