U.F.O.-Force It

Original

This is one I bought in 1975 as soon as I saw it at the record store. My second favorite U.F.O. record after Phenomenon. This one was produced by Leo Lyons of Ten Years After. Their keyboard player Chick Churchill plays on a couple songs. “Shoot, Shoot”, “Love Lost Love”, and “Mother Mary” are great Hard Rock songs. “High Flyer” and “Too Much Of Nothing” are more mellow and slower. “This Kid’s” has an instrumental tacked on to the end with some guitar work by Michael Schenker but that’s about the most soloing you will find on this record. The U.S. version of the cover had the two models fuzzed out. I guess it was too risque at the time. Still sounds good after all these years. No skips. Sounds better than a lot of new records I have bought recently.
