This was released in 1977 but I don’t think I bought this until ’79 or ’80. It’s a cutout so although I only bought a handful of records during that time it must have been then because I remember playing it quite often during the six months at the efficiency in Havre de Grace. This is another good record starting with the Funky “Somebody Calling”. “Further On Up The Road” is another Blues classic that sounds like it was recorded live. “Bluebird” is another mellow song that I can only describe as beautiful. James Dewar’s singing in a high pitched voice is wonderful along with Trower’s delicate guitar playing and I love the woodblock keeping time. Side two is the one I played most with two more Funky tracks “Smile” and “Love’s Gonna Bring You Round”. “Little Girl” is another more mellow song with some great guitar. The Last song “In City Dreams” is another good one. I have a Cd recorded live in 1977 for The King Biscuit Flower Hour and it was around this time I saw him in concert at the Spectrum.
