Another great record from Traffic. Another one I bought in 1974 when it came out. Some songs had a more Jazzy sound especially on the 11 minute “Dream Gerard”. My favorite track on the album, lyrics were by Viv Stanshall of Bonzo Dog Band fame, a friend of the band. With a nice long jam with Winwood’s synthesizer, Wood’s sax and bass from Roscoe Gee its one of my favorite Traffic songs. Rebop’s hand drumming can be heard on two of the tracks. “Graveyard People” shows off Winwoods more prominent synthesizer playing while “Walking In The Wind” is a more laid back song. The last record from this band. Winwood and Capaldi released many solo albums. Roscoe Gee and Rebop joined German band Can after this. Chris Wood and Rebop died in 1983. Both were in their late 30’s. In 1994 Winwood and Capaldi released one more Traffic album called Far From Home. I had it on cassette and thought it was pretty good. Haven’t seen it on vinyl yet.
