Their second record from 1986. One I bought when I was living in Claymont on Pennsylvania avenue just a few blocks from the high school. Sounding pretty much like their first but a little more laid back. I like this one almost as much. Two singles were released “What About Love” and “Coming Up Close” the first two songs on the album. “Sleeping And Waking” is a bouncy song that is one of my favorites. Although many of the songs are rather melancholy I do like most of them. At one point I sold this probably sometime in the 90’s. Came across a used copy at the store in West Chester about four years ago. It was good to hear it after about 20 or 25 years. They put out one more record that I had but sold it, I didn’t like it as much, before breaking up. in the early 90’s. Singer Aimee Mann went on to a successful solo carer but still toured as ‘Til Tuesday with two new drum and bass players before putting out her first solo record. Saw them in 1992 at the Chestnut Cabaret when I was still living in Plilly. Played all the songs I wanted to hear.
