This is a three record live album from The Tangent that came out in 2023. It also comes with 2 CDs with one having two tracks not on the vinyl. I looked at this a couple of times at the Ephrata store but at over $50 it was a little expensive but one day I bought it. It comes with a four page booklet with photos and liner notes. The first two records are from a show in Germany in 2004 with Andy Tilson’s original line-up featuring Ronnie Stolt the Swedish guitarist and singer who was also a member of The Flower Kings, and TransAtlantic. The third record has tracks from a 2012 show in England and a 2017 concert in New Jersey with later editions of the band. As explained in the liner notes flute and sax player Theo Travis was not at any of these shows and that’s a little disappointing because that is an important part of their sound. There is a flute in a couple of places but it sounds like it’s synthesized, no solos. The recordings all sound good as does the pressing of the vinyl on the Inside Out label, a home to many Progressive Bands.
