Talking Heads-Little Creatures

By the time I bought this album in 1985 I was living in Hull, Mass. in a house two blocks from the beach. Hull is is bit of land that sticks out in the Boston Harbor in an area that is called the South Shore. You could drive out to the end of the peninsula(where the high school was located) and see the 1200 ton crane that was at the General Dynamics shipyard in Quincy where I worked. This is another great record from Talking Heads. A little more mellow, less Funky that their last record but still good songs. “And She Was”, “Road To Nowhere” and “Stay Up Late” got radio airplay. I also really like “Television Man” and ” The Lady Don’t Mind”. I like the interesting cover. The band put out two more records before disbanding in 1991 after David Byrne left to go solo. Tina Weymouth and Chris Franz worked on their side project The Tom Tom Club for a while until they got back together with Jerry Harrison to put out a record called No Talking Just Head, calling themselves The Heads, they had a different vocalist for each song. I used to have it on cassette. Byrne sued them for a copyright infringement.
