Another one I still have a CD of. I don’t think I ever played it. Another reissue from 2015 of this 1999 release. Like all of their reissues it has updated liner notes with band members telling of their experiences recording this album. This one was recorded in Chicago with Jim O’Rourke producing. He added strings and horns to some of the tracks, a first for this guitar oriented band. Most of the songs are in the three minute range with their usual hooks and pleasing melodies. Only one song “You Can Always Count On Me(In The Worst Way)” sounded familiar to me, might have heard it on the radio. More good songs to listen to at a later date.
