Released in 1990 this is the debut album from Superchunk. This is the 2017 reissue. It comes with a poster for a live show at the Cat’s Cradle with photos and liner notes with band members writing about recording the record on the other side. Singer and bass player Laura Ballance writes “Recording the album was a terrifying experience, I could barely play my instrument”. Recorded in just two days it’s a good example of raw Indie and Punk music. First time listening to this record. “My Noise” and “Slack Motherfucker” were on yesterdays singles album. Always happy to hear “Slack Motherfucker” again certainly one of their best songs. The rest of the songs sound good.
