The debut album from this English Indie band. Formed by couple David Gavurin and Harriet Wheeler this came out in early ’90 when I bought it. These mostly acoustic rock songs are similar to The Smiths music but not lyrically. “Here’s Where The Story Ends” is a great song with Harriet Wheeler’s wonderful singing. I also like “I Won”, and “Hideous Town” all on side one which is the side I always listened to. Side two is also good with “A Certain Someone” my favorite on that side. They put out two more records in the 90’s before retiring to raise their daughter.
