The Stooges-Funhouse

This is the Stooges second album from 1970. A great album of Garage Rock, Punk, Psychedelic, and experimental music. Iggy Pop’s wild vocals, Ron Asheton’s fuzz guitar and brother Scott Asheton’s intense drumming make this an early 70’s classic. “Down On The Street” has the classic riff that I heard the other day on a TV commercial. Three of the songs add free form sax by Steve Mackay. The last track “L.A. Blues is an experimental composition with lots of noise and other sounds. This is a reissue I bought a couple years ago. It’s a faithful copy of the original release with the butterfly Electra label. Play this one loud.
