Sting-Nothing Like The Sun

The second solo album from Sting. His usual Jazz musicians help him out again and Mark Knopfler and Eric Clapton play on one song. Besides his Jazz styled Pop he has elements of World Music and Funk in some of the songs. I originally bought this two record set in 1987. Not sure if this is it or a used one I bought later but the first record is in very bad shape. Very fuzzy and distorted sounding with many skips. Maybe it needs a good cleaning but the second record sounds fine. Probably trashing this one although it has some good songs like “We’ll Be Together”, “The Lazurus Heart”, “Fragile” and a cover of Hendrix’s “Little Wing” and of course I have a digital copy of it.
