This is a record from 2015. It is named after his mother and stepfather with some songs dealing with her death in 2012. The music is mostly acoustic with simple instrumentation unlike his last record. First time listening to both sides, I don’t like it very much. To make matters worse it’s a terrible pressing with lots of surface noise and skips. Another 50% off at Barnes & Noble. Maybe that’s why. I will have to trash this one.
