Cat Stevens-Tea For The Tillerman

This is one from 1970 although my copy is a reissue I bought sometime in the 80’s. Another record owned by my friends older brother that we listened to after school. Listened to it a lot back then but probably haven’t put it on in thirty years or more. Some of his best known songs are on here and I knew every one by heart. “Wild World” was a Top 40 hit and others like “Hard Headed Woman”, “On The Road To Find Out”, and “FathervAnd Son” were heard on FM radio. I was enamored with a waitress named Lisa at the steakhouse I was working at so “Sad Lisa” was a personal favorite of mine. I also liked “Miles From Nowhere” and the short song “But I Might Die Tonight”. Probably his best record but listening to it today it sounds a little dated. The record is not in the best shape with a couple rough spots but I like the cover , drawn by Stevens, so I guess I will keep it.
