This record came out in the summer of ’78. I was working as a cook at a French restaurant at the time in Wilmington. The prep area was on the lower level and there was a radio there tuned to one of Philly’s rock radio stations. The DJ’s were all talking about the new Springsteen album and playing songs from it as I was making crepes. Another really good record, “Badlands”, “The Promise Land” and “Prove It All Night” were all released as singles. “Racing In The Street” is a personal favorite and one of his saddest songs. “Adam Raised A Cain” has a heavy guitar riff and “Candy’s Room” is a fast- paced song. The title track is another slower somber tune. This is a used one I bought in very good shape with the lyric sheet included.
