Sonic Youth-Goo

1990’s Goo is another critically acclaimed album from the band. Their first record after signing with major label Geffen Records. “Dirty Boots” a great rocker and “Tunic(A Song For Karen)” is about Karen Carpenter and her anorexia. “Mary Christ” is a Punk song, while “Kool Thing” is about an interview Kim Gordon had with L.L. Cool J. “Mote” is more of their sonic experimentation. “Mildred Pierce” ends with some loud screaming, “Scooter+Jinx” is just some high- pitched noise thankfully only about a minute long, “Titanium Expose” the last song on the record is another good one ending with more of their guitar noise sounds.
