Smoke Fairies are a duo from England consisting of Jessica Davies and Katherine Blamire. I found this looking through the records at the store in Ephrata in 2013. Because I like bands with women in them and the cover photo reminded me of Hull where I lived in Massachusetts I decided to buy it. After putting it on I discovered that they are an Indie Folk band and really liked the songs on side one especially “Let Me Know” and “Blood Speaks”. Played side one many times after work when I was living in Mohnton. I didn’t get around to putting on side two until a few years later. Just the second time listening to it. Also good but not a much as side one. Because I liked it so much I looked for older releases and bought each new one they put out.
