Another great compilation from The Collector Series. The Small Faces were an English Pop band from The 60’s. Although popular in England they were pretty much unknown in the U.S. Formed by Steve Marriot and Ronnie Lane. The two record set starts with “Itychcoo Park” a top n40 hit in the U.S. One side has live recordings from the mid 60’s including “Tin Soldier” another one of their more well known songs and “Every Little Bit Hurts” sounding a lot like Humble Pie that Marriot would form after leaving the band in 1970. “Autum Stone” is a nice mellow song with flute,while “Don’t Burst My Bubble” is another rocking song sounding like Humble Pie. An import from the U.K. this is one I bought used sometime in the 80’s.
