A 1984 release this is one of their best records. This is another 2018 half speed mastered reissue and another one I originally had on cassette. Robert Smith stepped in to play guitar on this record after they fired their original guitarist. Two of my favorite Banshees songs are on this record “Dazzle” and “Take Me Back”. “Belladonna”,”Swimming Horses” and “Blow The House Down” are also very good. Robert Smith’s guitar and writing contributions make this a more Psychedelic and accesable album. He played on their ’83 tour and live album Nocturn before recording this one and went back to The Cure after this.
