The Shamen were a band from Scotland formed by the McKenzie brothers,Colin Angus and Peter Stephenson. This is their first album from 1987.It’s full of great retro-psychedelic tunes like the music of The Stone Roses,Echo and the Bunnymen,or The Cure. After trhis the band took a new direction into the Techno/Dance, Acid House and Rave scene causing three members to leave with only Colin Angus left. I had a cassete of their 1990 En-Tact release that had the hit “Move Any Mountain” on it. I like the more psychedelic sound of this record. First time listening to both sides. I like it. The band broke up at the end of the 90’s.
