Michael is a German guitarist who was originally in the Scorpions with his brother Rudolf. He later joined U.F.O. replacing their original guitarist Mick Bolton. He left U.F.O. in ’78 to form The Michael Schenker Group. This two record live album was recorded in Tokyo in August of 1981. Members of this band are Cozy Powell,Paul Raymond,Chris Glen and singer Gary Barden. I bought this record off a co-worker about eight years ago for a dollar. The records look bad with lots of scratches and other marks on them but don’t plat too bad. I didn’t know any of the songs on the record except “Cry For The Nations” that was on some kind of Metal compilation album I had in the 80’s and “DoctorDoctor” the U.F.O. song. The rest are fairly typical Hard Rock/Heavy Metal songs the best part being Michael Schenker’s guitar playing. No long solos but he has some great licks.
