Sade-Diamond Life

The first album from this English artist and her band that came out in 1985. I fell in love with her Jazzy Soul after watching the videos for “Smooth Operator”,”Hang On To Your Love”,and “Your LoveIs King”. These are the first three songs on the album. “Frankies First Affair” and “When Am I Going To Make A Living” round out side one. Side two starts with “Cherry Pie” followed by “Sally” another one I realy like. The record ends with a cover of Timmy Thomas’s “Why Cant We Live Together”. I bought this record in 1985 when I was living in Hull. I had her next two records on vinyl and her next three on cassette and Cd. They were all sold in 2013. I re-purchased this used record about five years ago. Been looking for vinyl of Promise and Stronger Than Pride but haven’t seen them. Luckily a Best of Sade came out on vinyl a few years ago tht has the best songs from those records.
