A great live album and another one my friends older brother had. A record I checked out from my High School’s record library in the early 70’s. This was recorded in November 1969 at Madison Square Gardens in the middle of their best period of ’68 to ’72. The first tour with Mick Taylor on guitar with Ian Stewart playing piano on three songs. They sound great on two Chuck Berry songs “Carol” and “Little Queenie” as well as their own “Jumpin’ Jack Flash”,”Midnight Rambler”,”Sympathy For The Devil”,”Live With Me”,”Stray Cat Blues”,”Street Fighting Man”,and “Honky Tonk Woman”. A Cover of Robert Johnson’s “Love In Vain” was recorded in Baltimore. I found this used copy recently(last week) at the store in Ephrata for $3. It’s an original 1970 issue and the cocer is in good shape with the originbal London Records record sleeve. The record itself is only in fair condition, slightly warped at the edge and pretty scratchy. Well worth the $3 just for the cover alone.
