Found this record looking through a dollar bin at some record store a few yeas ago and immedietly recognized it. Sometime in the 80’s ,First time listening to it snce I bought itliving in Delaware, the library in Wilmington had some records you could check out. None were very well known but I checked out a few of them and of course I had to make a recording on cassette tape of them. This was one of them. Probably haven’t listened to it in 30 plus years and I threw all those tapes I recorded in the 80’s away in 2008. First time listening to it since I bought it and I did recognize some of the songs especially the first “Invitation:What Have You Got To Lose?”. Tom Robinson formed this band in 1979 and put out this one record in 1980 before going solo again. One of the earlier releases on the I.R.S. label. It’s a good example of early 80’s New Wave and the whole album is quite good. When holding the cover at an angle under a light you can see were someone had used it as a backing to write on and left the impression of it. You can see Dennis and a phone number and address. No area code so you can’t tell where it came from.
