This is one I bought on cassette in 1990 when it came out. This is a 2013 reissue on vinyl bought sometime in the last five years at Barnes & Noble. It’s the last abum by the band,almost a Paul Westerberg solo album as the other members have limited roles. Lots of guest stars on this including Benmont Tench,John Cale,Steve Berlin,and Johnette Napolitano. As usual every song is good,the standouts on this one are “Merry Go Round”,”Happy Town”,and “My Little Problem” with backing vocals by Johnette. Pauls westerberg put out many solo recordings,later making a record with Juliana Hatfield,while Tommy Stinson formed the band Bash & Pop.Chris mars also put out a few solo albums before leaving the music business to concentrate on art and painting. Slim Dunlap sufered a stroke in 2012 and Westerberg and Stinson reunited for a short tour then after record some songs for a tribute to Slim called Songs For Slim but that was the last recordings by them.
