The Replacements-Pleased To Meet Me

The first record I bought from them and the first I heard of them. The band is reduced to a trio of Paul Westerberg,Tommy Stinson, and Chris Mars after Bob Stinson left the band. Bought in 1987 when I was living in Claymont. Probably my least favorite of theirs but still has four great songs “Alex Chilton”,Nightclub Jitters”,”The Ledge” and “Can’t Hardly Wait”. “The Ledge” is about suicide,MTV didn’t like the video. The Jazzy “Nightclub Jitters” has sax and piano,”Can’t Hardly Wait ” features a horn section and Alex Chilton on guitar.
