Randy Pie were a German group from Hamburg. This is a German import from 1975 that I bought about five years ago. Found it looking through a bin of new arrivals somewhere,possibly at the record store near Oaks. I knew the name from my Jem Import Records catalouge I bought in 1976. It described them as heavy Rock with Funk leanings. I don’t hear much heavy Rock on this record but there is plenty of Funk. Sounding very American for a German band there are lots of harmonies from backup singers. Sounding very much like Atlantis,another German group whose keyboard player also plays on this record. Can’t say that I liked this very much,one for the reject pile.
