Another record I bought knowng nothing about the band but looking at the cover and the 60’s style writing on the front and back I had a good idea of what the music would be like. It’s a two record set with a gatefold cover recorded in Los Angeles in 2015. As expected this power trio plays Hard Rock/Blues Rock/Stoner Rock with the sound of the Jimi Hendrix experience throughout. Guitarist and founder Parker Griggs adds some vocals but it’s mostly jamming with some nice long guitar solos,even a drum solo on “No Good Woman”. The band is from Iowa and the original bass and drum players left after an altercation and formed the band Blues Pills with two European musicians. I have two of their albums.
