Queen-News Of The World

This is one of their better records.Going back to a more Rock sound there is less of their symphonic operetic style of their last two albums. Another one I had on cassette, one I probably taped off the radio. This record has four of my favorites by Queen “Spread Your Wings”,”Sleeping On The Sidewalk”,”Fight From The Inside”,and “It’s Late”. “We Will Rock You/We Are The Champions” became a big hit, often played at sporting events and was one I never liked too much. “Get Down ,Make Love” a very sexual song by Mercury is also one I liked as well as “All Dead,All Dead”.Roger Taylor’s “Sheer Heart Attack” was a song started for the album of that name but not finished in time. I saw Queen at The Spectrum in November of ’77,don’t remember who I went with.
