Queen-Queen

Original

Their first abum and one I bought when it came out in 1973. Strictly a Hard Rock album, only “My Fairy King” with Freddie Mercury’s operetic vocals gave a hint at what would be a big part of their sound. “Keep Yourself Alive”,”Doin’ All Right”,and “Great King Rat” all on side one are three of their best songs. Another one starts off side two. “Liar” was the first song I heard from them on the radio. “Modern Times Rock ‘n’Roll” was written by drummer Roger Taylor. My original record dissapeared a long time ago (late 70’s), finally got around to buying a 2009 reissue on Hollywood Records.
