This is one I bought new in 1987. Considered by many to be his best record this is a true double album at 80 minutes long. The record is a good mixture of Soul,Funk,R&B,and Rock. “Slow Love” and “Adore” are slow songs, very soulful and “I Could Never Take The Place Of Your Man” has a nice rocking jam at theend. That song was covered by The Goo Goo Dolls on one of the cassettes I had by them. “Housequake” is a good funky song and the 9 minute “It’s Gonna Be A Beautiful Night” recorded live with The Revolution is a standout Funk jam with Sheila E. doing a rap in the middle. Songs like “You Got The Look” and “If I Was Your Girlfriend” are sung in the falsetto pitch shifted vocal of his alter ego Camille
