Poco was formed after the breakup of Buffalo Springfield by Richie Furay and Jim Messina. Also in the band at one time was Randy Meisner and Timothy B. Schmit both future Eagles. This is their sixth album from 1973 and the last to feature Furay although he returned later in the 80’s. Another record I picked up in a dollar bin,it’s in decent shape. The title track is their 9 and a half minute epic that I remember hearing on the radio back then. I really like their cover of J.J. Cale’s “Magnolia”. Along with “Crazy Eyes” and “Let’s Dance Tonight” they make up side two of the record. They also cover “Brass Buttons” by Gram Parsons on side one. A decent Country Rock album. They continued playing well into this decade with many different members.
