The Pineapple Thief are one of the many new Progressive bands that formed in the 90’s. This is their tenth album from 2014. I have not listened to this one since buying it. It’s a two record gatefold album from this British band. I haven’t heard antyhing else by them but I would say they sound a bit like Porcupine Tree. Apparently this record is less progressive than some of their others with the longest song only about five and a half minutes long. That song “Alone At Sea” was the one I liked most and will go on my playlist. “Simple As That” has some heavier sounding guitars but most are what you would call Synphonic Rock. The whole album sounds pretty good ,I may hav to check out some of their earlier albums.
