This is their third album and another one played a lot at the Claymont apartments. I had several of their later releases on cassette but this is my favorite by them. Using members of Pilot and Steve Harley’s band the vocals this time are from Colin Blunstone of The Zombies,Jack Harris, and John Miles. A concept album like most of theirs this ones theme is the pyramid and ancient Egypt. There are three of their now familiar keyboard, bass, and drum instrumentals with a bit of orchestration but the songs with vocals are the best. “What Goes Up…”,”One More River”,”The Eagle Will Rise Again”,and “You Can’t Take It With You” all on side one are very good. Side two has two instrumentals and two with vocals ,the frenetic “Pyramania”, a favorite of my fellow apartment dwellers, and the ballad “Shadow Of A Lonely Man” that closes out the record. Comes with a poster of the cover with lyrics and liner notes on the other side.
