The ninth album from this Swedish Progressive Metal band. This was relesased in 2008 I have a 2014 re-issue on yellow and green swirled vinyl with one extra track not on the original release. I had two or three of their earlier albums as well as this one on CD. Most of the eight songs are in the seven to eight minute range with one over 11 minutes. All songs have a Progressive element with nice guitar,both electric and acoustic, and keyboards and clear vocals,”Coil” even has some female background vocals,and also sections of Death Metal with its growling vocals. Sometime the change from Progressive to Death metal can be a bit jarring but it’s all good. Although I had the CD I wasn’t to familiar with these songs. One of my favorite bands to come out of my Heavy Metal period.
