This is the fifth album from this Canadian Indie band. I bought their first release on CD in 2000 when it came out but never listened to it much. This one was on vinyl in 2010 when vinyl was still out of favor. As usual I played side one once and liked “Silver Jenny Dollar” the most. Sometime in 2013 or 14 I put it on again and loved it (both sides). Played a lot in the next couples of years when I was living in Mohnton. Haven’t listened to it lately but this is a very good record,my favorite by this band. I really like the songs “Move”,”Valkyrie In The Roller Disco”,Up In The Dark”,and “We End Up Together”. Most of the members of this band are involved in other projects,songwriters A.C. Newman and Dan Bejar have their own bands and singer Neko Case has done a lot of solo work.
