Golden hour is the third album from this Country singer although the record is more Pop than Country sometimes verging on SynthPop. Loved the song “Slow Burn” the first time I heard it on the radio and I bought the album which is on clear vinyl at Barnes & Noble. Nothing on the record I liked as much as “Slow Burn” but “Lonely Weekend”,”Love Is A Wild Thing”,and “Happy And Sad” are pretty good. “High Horse” was another one I had heard on the radio that wasn’t too bad. Songs like “Butterflies”,”Velvet Elvis”,and “Wonder Woman” I could do without. “Oh, What A World” sounds similar to “Slow Burn” and makes use of the dreaded Vocoder. The album won Album of the Year at the CMA,ACM, and Grammy awards in 2018-19.
