I liked Vol. 1 so much I went bact to the store last week and bought Vol. 2. and found it was not like Vol. 1. Much lighter sounding with the focus more on Sanae Yamada’s keyboards and John Jeffrey’s drums. Ripley Johnson’s guitar sytill plays a part and there are some nice psychedelic solos but this is more electronic sounding than the Stoner Rock of Vol. 1. Some of the five songs remind me of Suicide or The Jesus And Mary Chain as well as some Krautrock bands. Just as enjoyable as Vol. one but in a different way. I am really intrigued by this band and the Ephrata store has many more of their records…
