This is a live double album recordede on her 1979 tour supporting her album Mingus. She is backed by an all star Jazz band with Jaco Pastorius,Pat Methent,Lyle Mays,Michael Brecker, and Don Alias. It’s an album I bought at the store that used to be in Delaware just down the road from my sisters house. They had a room filled with crates of records for a dollar. This is one I found in there. Unfortunately it’s in bad shape with much scratchyness and many skips, pops, and other bad stuff. I used to have this on CD but I musthave sold it in 2013. The music is really good with lots of Jazzy instrumental breaks. “Amelia” and “Hejira” are connected by a nice guitar solo by Pat Metheny and “Black Crow” and “Dreamland” are connected by an amazing hand drum solo byn Don Alias. Other good songs ar “Edith And The Kingpin”,”In France They Kiss On Main Street”, and “Coyote”. There are three songs from the Mingus album, one I never owned. The record closes with “Woodstock”.
