This is probably their most successful album and another one I had on cassette. Al Jourgensen is teamed with Paul Baker with help from Bill Rieflin and Chris Connelly who were also involved in his many side projects. The music on this record is harsh and aggressive as is Industrial music in general and many of the songs veer into Heavy Metal territory. Gibby Haynes of The Butthole Surfers sings and plays guitar on the single “Jesus Built My Hotrod”. “The title track deals with religion and the last track “Grace” is a scary sounding instrumental. “N.W.O.” (new world order) was another successful single. “Scarecrow” is a little more subdued and my favorite on the record.
