Phil Miller- Split Seconds

His second solo album after Cutting Both ways that I listened to yesterday. Basically the same line-up as that record althought Richard Sinclair, formally of Caravan the best know Canterbury Scene band, adds his voice and bass to “Dada Soul”. Three of the eight songs are with his band In Cahoots with three more tracks recorded with Dave Stewart and Barbara Gaskin. Maybe not quite as good as Cutting Both Ways, this has a more Jazz sound but still has some nice guitar by Miller and sax by Elton Dean formally in Soft Machine. This 1988 album was never released in the U.S. I bought this used earlier this year for $15 and the record and cover are in like new condition.
