There’s something wrong about Metallica’s Kill “Em All being the album on Easter Sunday, but that’s how it worked out. At least they’re not one of those Satanic Metal bands. I had a few of them in the 150 Heavy Metal cassettes I ended up buying at that time which I later sold in 2013 for $75. I was never a big fan of Metallica but I did have all there releases on cassette up to Load in my heavy metal period of the early 90’s. This is their first album and not their best but it does have two of their classic songs “The Four Horsemen” ,co-written by early member Dave Mustaine, and “Seek And Destroy”.”Jump In The Fire” and “No Remorse ” are also pretty good. I did see them in concert with my friend from work in 1991 when the “Black Album” came out. On the way to the Spectrum we were driving down Roosevelt Blvd. each drinking a quart of beer, windows down, loud music playing, when a cop saw us and pulled us over. All the time I lived in Upper Darby and Philly I never got Pa. tags or Pa. drivers liscense, still had everything in Delaware,so when I gave him my liscense he said “I don’t know what the law is in Delaware but here in Pennyslvania you can’t drink and drive.” He made us pour out the beer and sent us on our way. They were supposed to be with Guns’n’Roses but Axel Rose wasn’t showin up for the shows so it was just Metallica on the bill. Towards the end of the show we decided to go down on the floor and get up front. Somehow I fell and immediatly someone was stepping on my arm and another on my back. My friend was abel to grab my other arm and help pull me up. Thought I was going to get trampled. After the concert I bough a t-shirt from a guy outside but lost my ticket stub somewhere(I like to save them). I bought this new at Barnes & Noble. All their early records had been re-issued and I thought I should have one. I don’t know why I decided on this one. I think I like Ride The Lightning better.
