The Dave Matthews Band-Crash Posted on March 19, 2022 by David Meader This is their secomd studio album that came out in 1996. Another one I had on cassette. Like their remember two things record it is a two record gatefold cover with an 8 page booklet with lyrics and photos, first time on vinyl released in 2016. I had every DMB on either cassette or CD up to 2002’s Busted Stuff including several of their live releases and Crash is one of my favorites of theirs. This and Under The Table And Dreaming are the only older ones I have seen on vinyl although there is a four record vinyl copy of their Live at Red Rocks recording but it is a bit pricy. The three songs on side one are very good, “So Much To Say”,”Two Step”,and “Crash” were all relesed as singles as was “Too Much” and “Tripping Billies”. There are some nice jams on “#41″,”Say Goodbye” and “Proudest Monkey”, with sax player LeRoi Moore playing some flute as well as sax, giving the record a bit of a live feel. I really enjoyed litening to this one.
