Their second album from 1995.The same people, although by this time Tricky had left for a solo carrer but raps on two songs on this record. The singing is done by Tracey Thorn,Nicolette Suwoton, and Reggae artist Horace Andy. Again like their first record its a mix of Rap,Hip-Hop,Soul,Electronic,and Reggae. Their music is generally refered to as Trip-Hop now. The title track sung by Tracey Thorn of Everything But The Girl is quite good sounding a bit like something by Beth Orton, followed by “Karmacoma” a rap by Tricky that’s pretty good. “Three” and “Sly” are soulful numbers sung by Nicolette while “Spying Glass” is Reggae influenced. There are two instrumentals in the electronica vein with some nice piano some of it in “Heat Miser” reminding me of Mike Oldfield’s Tubular Bells. The record ends with a rather bizarre cover of “Light My Fire” recorded live and sung by Horace Andy. Unfortunately this re-isue I bought has a lot of pops, clicks, and surface noise.
