Mahogany Rush-Tales Of The Unexpected

Another great record from this Canadien trio. Still composed of Frank Marino,Paul Harwood, and Jim Ayoub. This is one I bought in 1979 when it came out but was sold in 2012 along with most of my CDs all my cassettes and many records. This is a new old record I bought two years ago. It was still shrink wraped with a Nice Price sticker on it that was used in the late 70’s early 80’s. No UPC code on it. The first side has four songs “Sister Change” a Funky number with some female backing vocals and the title track a 7 minute instrumental that starts out Rock and ends on a Jazzy note. There are also two covers,”All Along The Watchtower” sounding like Hendrix’s cover of it and “Norweigian Wood”. Side two has four songs recorded live all straight ahead Rockers with great guitar soloing by Marion,my favorite being “Woman”.
