This is an 80’s band from the Athens, Georgia area home of the B-52’s,Pylon,REM and others. Bill Berry of REM was an early drummer in the band. They play a kind of Indie or Jangle Pop that was comming out of Athens at the time. This is their fifth record. There earlier ones were largely instumental and this one has two. Another one I bought for a dollar a few years ago and hadn’t lisened to yet. The sogns have some nice hooks yet are a little offbeat. “Cartoon Kiddies” mentions Top Cat in the chorous. a cartoon I watched as a kid. “Beatle Boots” and “Nightclub Scene” were ones I thought sounded pretty good. There is also a Funky cover of “Party Train”. Not a bad trecord and one I will keep.
