A double live album from 1977. As live albums go it’s OK,nothing to get too excited about. He’s a decent guitar player and there are some good solos but this is one instance where I like the studio versions of the songs better. All songs are from his first three records except for “Moon Tears” a song from his band Grin before he went solo and is the best song on the record. Another non album track is “Beggars Day”,a tribute to Danny Whitten who he new from working in Crazy Horse. Whitten died in 1972 from a drug overdose. Lifgren later joined The E Street Band and recently re-joined Crazy Horse for their new record with Neil Young. This is a used record I bought about ten years ago.
