This is one I bought earlier this year for a dollar or two. Half are written by Lennon half by Yoko. John’s songs are all pretty good. “I’m Losing You”.”Watching The Wheels”, and “Beautiful Boy” are all pretty good and listening to the touching love song “Woman” made me tear up a bit I must admit. Yoko’s songs on the other hand are more new wave sounding with her unusual singing and warbeling noise she makes. They are not so good. This was released in November of 1980. It was about three weeks later that I heard he had been shot and killed on the radio that was being played in the cafeteria in the morning before starting classes at The Wilmington Skills Center where I was learning the trade that I worked in for 40 years. The trade I was learning was pipefitting and I was to get a job at Sun Shipbuilding in Chester. But before I was done the program the company went out of business so I got a job in Maryland building tunnel tubes for the Fort McHenry tunnel in Baltimore. After working in Shipyards and a steel mill in the 80’s I’ve been working in steel fabrication and welding.
