A tribute album to Big Star released on CD in 2006. An aquamarine vinyl edition was released on Record Store Day Black Friday in 2018. I knew all the artists on the record except one. All songs written by Alex Chilton with Chris Bell or Andy Hummel.The record is produced by Jody Stephens the only surviving member of the band. First time listening to this one. Some of the bands are The Afghan Wigs,Juliana Hatfield,Matthew Sweet,Wilco,and The Gin Blossoms. It all sounds pretty good to me although I’m not familiar with most of the originals.
